Lemuria is a dark steely blue linear holo with blue holo microglitter and green glass flecks. Two to three coats recommended. Each bottle contains one or two stainless steel BBs for mixing.

Lemuria was a three-day festival in May when the Romans exorcised restless spirits from their homes. These spirits (lemures) were believed to be the ghosts of people who had not received the proper funeral rites and respect from their descendants. At midnight, the head of the household would walk through the house barefoot while tossing black beans over his shoulder as an offering to the lemures. Then the rest of the family would bang pots together to scare off the ghosts.

Because of Lemuria, the whole month of May was considered an unlucky time to get married. Lemuria may be the source of the feast of All Saints' Day.
Always start with a base coat to extend the life of your manicure and reduce the risk of staining. Apply the recommended number of thin coats, waiting for a few minutes in between. Paint over the tips of your nails to form a seal. Finish with a quick-dry topcoat such as Out the Door or Seche Vite. For bumpy glitter polishes, you may need more than one coat of topcoat for a smooth finish.

To keep your nails and cuticles healthy, we recommend a cuticle balm such as Indigo Bananas!

Three-/four-/five-free polishes may settle over time (a layer of clear liquid will form at the top of the bottle). A good shake should redistribute the pigments completely.

I love, love, love this color. It's a beautiful shade and application is wonderful. This is by far my current favorite.
