Description Ingredients and Warnings
Mundus Patet is a black polish with holographic and iridescent glitter shards. Two to three coats are recommended. Topcoat is a must with this polish for a smooth finish. Each bottle contains one or two stainless steel BBs for mixing.

The mundus was a hemispherical pit in Rome, usually covered by a stone. It probably originated as a storehouse for grain, and was sacred to the agricultural goddess Ceres. Ceres also guarded the boundary between life and death, and eventually the mundus was considered to be a portal to the Underworld. On three days of the year, including November 8, priests removed the stone and announced mundus patet -- "the mundus is open." On these days, the spirits of the dead could commune with the living. The Romans gave offerings from the harvest to their ancestral spirits and the underworld gods.
Always start with a base coat to extend the life of your manicure and reduce the risk of staining. Apply the recommended number of thin coats, waiting for a few minutes in between. Paint over the tips of your nails to form a seal. Finish with a quick-dry topcoat such as Out the Door or Seche Vite. For bumpy glitter polishes, you may need more than one coat of topcoat for a smooth finish.

To keep your nails and cuticles healthy, we recommend a cuticle balm such as Indigo Bananas!

Three-/four-/five-free polishes may settle over time (a layer of clear liquid will form at the top of the bottle). A good shake should redistribute the pigments completely.
